The third edition of the joint training exercise named ‘EX-DUSTLIK’ between the armies of India and Uzbekistan began in Yangiarik, Uzbekistan. India is being represented by the Grenadiers Regiment while the Uzbek Army contingent is being represented by soldiers from the North Western Military District. The previous edition of DUSTLIK was held in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. The joint exercise will focus on counter-insurgency operations in semi-urban areas.

A drone show will also be organized in which 500 drones will fly together.

Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the “Step-Up to End TB- World TB Day Summit 2022” on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day in New Delhi. The Union Health Minister will award the best performing states and districts to achieve TB eradication. In 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the Delhi End TB Summit and proposed to end TB in India by 2025, 5 years ahead of the 2030 TB-related SDG targets.
