North Korea has confirmed that it has test-fired its first intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) codenamed ‘Hwasong-17’ since 2017. Hwaseong-17 flew 1,090 km at a maximum altitude of 6,248.5 km and destroyed one target.

2. According to the India TB Report 2022, what is the percentage increase in the cases of Tuberculosis (TB) in India in 2021?

Answer – 19%

Recently ‘India TB Report 2022’ was released by the Union Health Minister. According to this report, India registered a sharp increase of 19 percent in tuberculosis (TB) cases in 2021 as compared to the previous year. The total number of TB patients notified during 2021 was around 19 lakh, which was 16 lakh in 2020. The mortality rate due to TB has increased by 11 percent in India between 2019 and 2020.
