Today we read about the Speech on Clean India. The main objective of Swachh Bharat is to make India clean. To create awareness among the people that just as they keep their house clean, in the same way the country should also be kept clean. Because our country is our identity. No matter how much we make our house shine, our identity will remain the same till the country does not shine. Therefore, consider the country as your home and always keep contributing in its cleanliness. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has impressed everyone so that everywhere people can be seen sweeping the streets and roads with a broom in their hand.
Long and Short Speech on Clean India
Speech on Clean India – 1
Honorary Judge, Respected Principal, Vice President, Teachers and my dear students – Greetings to all of you!
It gives me great pleasure to host the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan today in the presence of our most eminent judges serving as Chief Advisors in the Ministry of Environment of India. I hope our efforts to take care and maintain our school campus as well as the infrastructure will be appreciated by our judges. Apart from this, today I also wish to give a small speech on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan so that more and more people can know about it and keep cleanliness in their surroundings and encourage others to do the same. .
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or simply say this sentence has become common to all is one of the most respected projects launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. In the year 2014, the official announcement of this special campaign was made on 2 October i.e. on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It is indeed a campaign that attracted the attention of millions and gained national recognition. The main objective behind this campaign was to make every area of India, be it rural or urban, open defecation free.
Moreover, this prestigious campaign aims to encourage the habit of cleanliness and maintenance of cleanliness in all public and private places – be it streets, roads, offices, homes or public infrastructure across the country. The best aspect of this campaign is to push for cleanliness and construction of public toilets in all colleges, schools and public places.
There is one difference that I am sure everyone is aware of is the level of cleanliness between India and other western countries. We often wonder why their cities remain clean and tidy? Of course we have a lot to learn from them and if we want our country to be counted among the developed countries of the world then we have to follow that path.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is one of the many other cleanliness campaigns that are being run at the national level and the best part is that more than one million public functionaries of schools as well as colleges have participated in it. The main goal of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is to clean 4,041 cities and towns of our country in a budget of 1.96 lakh crores which has now reached to about $31 billion.
The best part of this campaign is that no sector is untouched by its impact and the Indian film entertainment industry has also started taking the project very seriously. In fact, a superhit film “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” has also been made on this subject, in which Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar have worked. It can be guessed from its title that how women living in rural areas of India have to face problems, who have no option but to defecate in the open in the absence of toilet facilities. It is really interesting to see that the cleanliness campaign is generating huge interest among the people and bringing about a massive change in our society. That’s all I had to say.
Speech on Clean India – 2
Dear Society Members and my dear children – Greetings from all of you!
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you to be here at such a short notice and I do apologize for the same. Actually I wanted to organize this meeting after few days but due to cleanliness drive organized by our neighboring society, I was left with no option but to organize this meeting early. The reason kids are invited to today’s meeting is because the kids are seen as active members of the campaign and their level of excitement plus the dedication of the kids is unparalleled.
So I request everyone to come together and be a part of this campaign, where we all would like to contribute our bit to this campaign to remove the garbage from our surroundings and save our living environment from getting ruined. . But before I do, I invite your thoughts and brainstorm on how we can move forward. Please allow me to give a brief speech on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which has soon garnered a lot of support across the country.
Though this was not the first time that our government started the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to attract the attention of the people, but the magical charisma of Narendra Modi ji caught the attention of people across the country. Earlier in the year 1999, the Government of India had started a campaign called “Total Cleanliness”, which was later renamed as “Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan” by former Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh, but this time under the patronage of Narendra Modi, this campaign was a national priority. has been made. It was quite unbelievable to the people that a Prime Minister imagined to take such an unexpected step and give such importance to such a subject, that one can ponder over the issue of cleanliness.
Actually it is not right to blame anyone, because it has been seen that many people in India are not conscious of cleanliness. We have become accustomed to living in a bad environment or we ignore cleanliness and do not pay attention to it. In such a situation people do nothing but blame the government or public authorities for non-availability or poor maintenance of infrastructure. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi managed to awaken people’s consciousness towards cleanliness and health, thereby encouraging people to be an active part of this Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In fact, several pictures went viral on social media platforms, in which Prime Minister Modi can be seen carrying a broom in his hand and cleaning the road. Some may see this as a political stunt or a marketing tactic,
So I sincerely hope that we become a part of the campaign run by our neighboring society and show our active participation.

Respected Guests and Respected Viewers – Greetings to all of you and I welcome you all to the Swachh Bharat Awareness Camp! Thank you all for coming in large numbers and making this awareness camp a success.
Since our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving a lot of emphasis on cleanliness and maintenance of cleanliness, the whole country has been painted in its color where every person in every household is becoming aware of cleanliness and maintenance of cleanliness. In fact his campaign called Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has invited the active participation of every Indian to ensure its success. However, no such campaign can be fruitful unless the mindset of the people changes and unless they feel the need to ensure cleanliness from their own conscience. Thus it is very important to change the ‘Chalta Hai’ attitude of the people. Because this change cannot come under pressure and people should voluntarily go ahead to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
Generally people keep their house clean and when it comes to cleaning their surroundings like parks, roads, alleys etc. their attitude becomes hopeless and then no one cares because everyone is well aware of the government and its officials. It wants to give up the responsibility of ensuring that all roads, streets as well as public infrastructure are there. This attitude needs to be changed as people belittle themselves and pollute their surroundings and blame the government for lack of action and ineptitude.
It is important to make people aware of its importance but the most important thing is to translate this awareness into action. Since our government has already started this initiative, it will surely make people aware and encourage them to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Apart from this, our government can also launch a separate campaign for cleanliness awareness, so that the number of people working for this campaign can increase. Eventually such an initiative will not only change the ‘chalta hai’ attitude of the people but will also explore their participation.
In fact before India achieved independence this campaign to maintain cleanliness and cleanliness was very popular and great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi etc. followed good habits as well as cleanliness to promote positive attitude among the people . As it is said that cleanliness and devotion go hand in hand, so we should never let our surroundings remain unclean. This affects our character and behavior. Throwing garbage or spitting on the street is considered a serious crime in many countries, but in our country we see almost every other person eating tobacco or throwing other things on the street. Is this a sign of a civilized society? off course not!
So why don’t we use effective measures and not only stop others but also destroy our surroundings ourselves. Apart from Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, I also hope that our campaign will bring a lot of change in the society and will encourage people to maintain cleanliness all around.

Dear Organization Members and Respected Audience – Greetings to all of you! I hope everyone here is happy and having fun!
As a member of this Swachh Noida Samiti, I am very excited that we are ready to invite a large number of people to be a part of our group and work towards the betterment of our society. And organizing this prestigious event today can be nothing more than successfully completing the 25 Swachh Noida Samiti campaign and connecting more and more people to it.
Apart from this, I want to take this opportunity to tell what our Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has achieved so far through his Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He started this nationwide campaign on 2nd October in the year 2014. The date, as we all know, is the day of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It was a great initiative run by him and the day he decided to dedicate this scheme to the people of the country, which could not have been a suitable day.
His main objective behind starting this campaign was to provide basic sanitation facilities to the families living in remote areas or rural areas. Thus it includes the construction of toilets as well as liquid and solid waste disposal systems. This includes ensuring cleanliness in every village along with clean and adequate drinking water facility. The Prime Minister is keen to achieve this target by 2019 and thus wants to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation, that is, on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Shri Narendra Modi in one of his speeches said that this mission is far above politics and is inspired by patriotism or deep love for the country. He also asked his countrymen to take an oath that “I will neither do dirt nor I will allow to do dirt”. Apart from this, it also became a punchline for the promotion of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In his speech he also mentioned that it is not just a slogan but it is everyone’s duty and responsibility to free their motherland from unnecessary load of unwanted items. It reminded people of Gandhi’s idea of cleanliness and linked this current campaign with Gandhi’s mission of maintaining both personal and public cleanliness.
According to Gandhiji, “You cannot clean your towns and cities unless you have a broom and a bucket in your hands.” Thus as a native of our country it becomes our responsibility to ensure cleanliness. We should not leave the accountability to government employees, local communities or NGOs for the cleanliness of our surroundings. It is the collective responsibility of everyone to realize the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and provide utmost protection to our environment before the situation gets completely out of control.
That’s all I had to say and now allow me to invite my co-hosts on stage to say a few words in this regard.
